Bipolar in the News

New book on anxiety by BSC member!

The Anxious Achiever by Morra Aarons-Mele is a leadership toolkit for anyone who worries that anxiety, depression, or other mental health challenges are preventing them from having the big career they want.

The Boston Globe calls its message “honest and refreshing,” and the Financial Times named it a “Best Business Book” for April. Leading HR and future of work voice Laurie Ruettimann says “I was looking for a book to help me manage my anxiety. I’m not just talking about the ever-present fears that come from human existence. I'm also talking about the anxiety that comes with succeeding and leading. This book isn’t self-help or therapy. It’s a roadmap to thinking better and more clearly at work and in your personal life. I hope you pick up a copy today. It's so good!”

Harvard Business School Professor Amy Edmondson calls the book “a game changer, wise and practical.”

Rita McGrath, ranked world’s no. 2 management thinker in 2021 says, “In The Anxious Achiever, Morra Aarons-Mele bravely uncovers a reality that we rarely talk about: success is often accompanied by great anxiety. It’s a horrible feeling. But armed with the concepts in this well-researched, raw, and vulnerable work, you will learn how to take anxiety and channel it toward a powerful purpose.”

You can buy it here, on Amazon, or wherever you get your books.
